It's been a while since I've been to the City of Pines. I went there to get my credentials from SLU so I can get my Master's Degree, but that didn't stop me from exploring.
First thing I noticed: Burnham Park now has a gate.
I think it was still being built the last time I came here. The Rose Garden still looks the same, though the fountains are a bit unappealing now for some reason.
From there, I walked straight to SLU. I don't take a ride to places in Baguio unless it's really far away. I usually walk so I can look around.
Anyway, I went to the Registrar's Office to get an application and then they went on their lunchbreak at noon and they told me to come back at 1:30. (WTF A HOUR AND A HALF FOR LUNCH)
So I went back out to look for a place to eat lunch, and I just had to stare in awe when I saw this building.
It's THREE FLOORS of McDonalds! :)
I tried the new McDouble and it was a really heavy meal. O_o
It was still early so I went to Notre Dame Hospital to meet Klein, my best friend. She was accompanying her mom to her doctor.
Sadly, we didn't get to take a selfie. :P
After our meet up, I went back to SLU to finish my clearance and I got to visit my favorite building in the campus. THE LIBRARY.
If I could live there, I would. :)
I had to pay for my credentials and sarcastically lucky for me that it was also enrollment day. Ugh. I spent 45 minutes in line for the cashier to pay P278.
They seriously need to consider online enrolment. At least there was a prize in the end for me because the accounting clerk at W. 10 was really handsome. ;)
I finished my application (even saw Kuya Hector at the Registrar's Office) then I walked to explore.
As I was walking along UB, I saw a sunflower and I just had to take a photo for my sister. :3
I climbed up the steps to Baguio Cathedral and lighted a candle at the shrine before visiting Mt. Cloud Bookstore. It's really cool! You can sit and browse some of the books. There's also a ladder so you can reach the top of the shelves. I love visiting this bookstore. :)
This artwork was outside the store and I just had to take a photo. I wish I had this kind of talent. :)
I had a snack at SM Baguio before I walked to Pines Garage to get a ride home. Lucky for me, I walked through Burnham Park just in time for the Fountain Show.
And that sunset ends my Baguio adventure. :)

It's 2014 and one of my New Year's Resolutions is to start travelling.
Personally, I travel alone once a year, but usually for seminars or meetings and no time for actually enjoying the place I go to.
I travel with my family, too. Purpose: to visit relatives. Again, not much time for adventures.
Thus, I decided to start this travel blog, to keep track of where I've been and plot on where I'll go next.
